Purpose and Audience

This guide provides instructions on how to access and sign in to an AWS account. This guide is intended for UW staff who have completed the UW Cloud Intake Form, read through the UW AWS page, and completed the process of the UW ordering AWS via Workday page.

Accessing AWS for the first time

Step 1: Head to https://uw.awsapps.com/start/ to login to your AWS account

• Use your UW NetID to Login

Step 2: Enter your password

Step 3: Multi-Factor authentication with DUO

Step 4: Drop down the carrot for your AWS account

• Select AWSAdministratorAccess

Step 5: You are now logged into your account
